Investigación Participativa Basada en la Comunidad (CBPR)
Your Instructor
I am Dr. Luz Claudio and I will be your virtual research mentor. I will guide you through the process of writing and publishing your research as I have done with hundreds of students, international fellows and postdocs. Currently, I am a tenured professor and Chief of the Division of International Health at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, a top twenty medical center. I have 25 years of experience mentoring undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral students and international fellows. A recent evaluation of one of my short-term training programs (in which 100 students received 3 months of research training), resulted over 70 peer-reviewed research papers and abstracts presented at international professional conferences.
Using the same successful techniques that I have used with my students, I will guide you through this course. You will not waste time reading about writing. Instead, you will write your research as you take the lessons. At the end of the course, you will have all the tools needed to write, submit and promote your research papers.
I am excited to have you in my course. Thank you for the opportunity to guide you on your journey to becoming a published scientist.
